Any time is good to visit the region of Navia, but without doubt it is better when the weather conditions are still mild and the town is most active. The possibilities on offer for visitors to get to know the natural riches, history and cultural heritage through hiking routes are numerous.
The route is 5km long and is of medium difficulty and takes approximately 2 hours. It starts at the campo de la feria (market place) in Vilarpandin. At the fountain continue along the mud track on the right that leads down until you cross the stream ‘Corbeira’. Continuing along the track until it exits onto a tarmac road of Vilaverde. After going through Freixís, at around a 100 metres from the last house, next to an electricity post follow the path that returns to Navia. The route takes in scenery of low to medium mountains and is sheltered by the abundant vegetation.
